3. double click on drive displayed
4. Volumes Tab
5. Populate
6. Click on drive that is populated below Volume in the box

If you do not have that icon on desktop, go to start, and you should see "My Computer or Computer". Should be where you saw "Control Panel" when you clicked on start menu. Size of SSD would depend on how large of HD you have now and how much free space you have. SSD that was posted above from newegg is very good, but depends if you need that size or bigger.
Here is what I show when I drill down:

Read up on what it is you want to do, find alternate routes, etc.

Also, if you back up phones quite a bit, that will chew up storage as welI. I just freed about 35-40GB removing very old backups. Or you can move them to external.
EDIT:
I would TURN OFF your indexing on that drive. Will help speed up. Uncheck the box that has "Allow this drive to....index....."Last edited by Rafa; 10-04-2015, 04:00 PM.

Probably a new keyboard lol. Just plug in a walmart keyboard into the USB slot.
I forgot what direction this thread went but I'd also format your computer and then run the "maintenance cycle". Run Ccleaner registry cleanup, (it still finds things on a new installation) and defrag.
If you don't format, then run the longer maintenance cycle with includes Ccleaner, Defrag, malware bytes, and a good antivirus like Bitdefender. Make sure it runs the full system scan. Doing all that, moving all unnecessary stuff to a different drive, and your new SSD will make a night and day difference.WH
