Bitlocker help

I put this on my external drives years ago. I didn't have a legit copy of Windows 7 at the time. I bought a copy on sale and since I installed it, I can't see anything on the drive. It shows data space used on the drive but can't see nothing. How do I get bitlocker on my new copy of 7 that didn't come with it? Or is there another way around this?

You would need the BitLocker key to get the information off of it. BitLocker only came with Win7 Ultimate and Enterprise, but you can decrypt any Bitlockered device with any version of Windows 7, provided you have the key. If you don't have the key, you're SOL.

i have the key. when i click on the drive letter in my computer, it loads up and empty folder. but in my computer it shows the drive half full. when i had ultimate and clicked on the drive it would require a password.
