Android - Adding an image to a contact. *Rant*

I have a newly added contact on my HTC m8. I have them send a picture, and I save the photo. Google Photos, and HTC's Gallery app cannot see the picture. I find the saved photo via the file manager app. I can open the photo from the File Manager with both the HTC Gallery & Google Photos app. I move the photo to a location where both apps see other photos, and the apps still cant see the damn photo!

This shit souldn't be this hard! Maybe they forgot that people still add contacts the old fashion way, and don't have them sync'ed from fucking facebook.

Open the photo and take a screen shot of it so it'll be in your Gallery. Go to the contact, hit Edit and when you try to add a pic you should have an option to use one in your Gallery or to take a pic. Use the one in your Gallery and you're done.
