  • How can I save a voice message?

I have a couple of messages on my Samsung phone from my dad that are about a year old. I would like to transfer them to some kind of storage device. Maybe a thumb drive or something. Can someone tell me what to save them to and how?

What model phone do you have?

Who's your carrier? I know with AT&T and Visual Voice Mail I can save them from within the app.

I have a Samsung galaxy light and I'm on Tmobile. His messages are saved on visual voicemail. I've had them saved on there for almost a year.

Does your phone have the mini sd card? That will be the easiest way to have it not on a cloud platform.

According to the wife, it is the mini card. I've moved photos from my phone to a thumb drive. Can I do the same with my voicemail?

Probably, stop by a T-Mobile store and check.

Mine doesn't work like that and say, copy to memory card. This is the directory it tells me. /storage/emulated/0. I'm not sure what this is. I just don't want to risk misplacing or losing the messages.

Take it to the TMobile store then, they will do it for you.

Save it to that directory and save it to the SD card afterwards?
