AT&T announces Mobile to Any Mobile plan

Every person I know with sprint has different issues with it, they don't get texts, don't get calls, sometimes get MMS messages, just spotty overall.

Yeah I think the phone version is 2.4. Thats what I mean about fragmented, I read 3.0 will be tablet only so they will branching off I guess. Its all getting stupid complicated. I guess thats the tradeoff with having a open OS.

Supposedly there's an emulator for 3.0, on the emulator was a way to change the resolution to the size for a cell phone, so it could be ported theoretically.

What a rip off. It cost an additional $30 a month for Family plans. I already pay $170 for 2100mins, ONE 2Gig data plan an NO text and have 1800+ roll over and A-List.

I don't see how anyone could benefit from this. I know it wouldn't be prudent for us at all. I already can call ANY number via Google Voice for free and can text unlimited via GV for free too.

This seems like a "suckers" deal to me.

I have the unlimited family texting already. It is the same cost as the "new" plan with Mobile To Any Mobile. I really don't consider myself a sucker, and I can't see how most AT&T users with an unlimited family text plan couldn't benefit from this.


....that is unless I'm completely missing something here, which I guess is possible.

Sucker prolly wasn't the best choice of words but the fact remains that the actual benefit isn't that great,IMHO, considering the minimums required for rate plan to qualify.

I could get more for my money in a competitor but it's just a big hassle to change.
