This will likely be my last sli setup as I have also seen the trend that single GPU is most times less of a headache with less launch hitches.

I'm hoping the 980 ti will perform about the same as the new titans with a little less vram. I might jump on one of those.
Yeah, 84c is what it tops out using stock fan settings and stock voltage. Once the 980 AIO coolers come back in stock ill pick up one of those.

What clocks do you like to run on that titan? I've found myself not overclocking anything much anymore except the cpu lol.

And how important is extended distance scaling? I can run msaa and txaa as long as this is 1/2 turned down.

In Precision I have it set to +175/+350; so gpu-z shows that to be 1400 on the core (boosted) and the memory is at 7800ghz total.

I've been following threads and i'm reading that its very gpu taxing so low is being recommended. Not sure what GPU's they are on, but the game loaded me with it default set the way it is.

I'm going to try some of these suggestions here later on my other rig to try and maintain 120fps minimum.

Thanks for the link, I have a few of those turned on and now I am going to turn them off hoping for better performance.

Anyone using ram over 1600 MHz getting a little stuttering or hitching? There's been testing done saying 2xxx MHz will cause a little hitching which I have using 2133 MHz ram.

I have 2133 on my titan setup and havent noticed any stuttering. My spare rig has 2400 ram and a 970 but i havent put in time on it to test for stuttering.

meh. I don't know then. I get occasional hitching in and out of SLI. Can't really figure it out. Most times it goes away with other games when I turn off SLI. Even at the lowest settings Ill get a hitch.

In my excitement to play it, I may have overlooked it maybe?

Nah man go ahead and rape some gta5. I'll just deal with it. Its not as bad as dragon age Inquisition. I'll buy your titan x next year playa when you upgrade to titan turbo 2016. I'm just picky. I really have to move the camera 360 degrees very slowly to get a little hitch or stutter. Who plays like that anyway lol.

Thanks for the offer tho. I would like to know city speeding frames at 2160p and country speeding frames at 2160p vram usage and frames if you get a chance.

For the game running this well at launch, any complaining of do makes me feel like a Lil bitch so I'm gonna stop haha.

This is at 5120x3200, I think it works out to be about twice the pixel count when compared to 4k.
I was driving around the entire city with Franklin. Vram usage jumped real high once I got around Mount Chiliad.

FPS hovered around 25~30fps until I got to Mount Chiliad where it dropped to 20's. I'm sure I can pick up more frames with more tweaking I can get better frames. In comparison 2560x1600 I'm pretty much locked at 60fps most of the time with 2x MSAA/TXAA enabled.

This is with 2x MSAA/TXAA, without its about 1200 less vram. The dips in the graphs are me hitting escape and going to the menu's.

I know this is a GTA5 thread, but all this vram really improved performance in Arma 3 and Day Z too.

Got rid of my hitching by forcing 60Hz instead of 59hz through Custom Resolution Utility for some reason.
