And how important is extended distance scaling? I can run msaa and txaa as long as this is 1/2 turned down.
I've been following threads and i'm reading that its very gpu taxing so low is being recommended. Not sure what GPU's they are on, but the game loaded me with it default set the way it is.
I'm going to try some of these suggestions here later on my other rig to try and maintain 120fps minimum.

In my excitement to play it, I may have overlooked it maybe?

Nah man go ahead and rape some gta5. I'll just deal with it. Its not as bad as dragon age Inquisition. I'll buy your titan x next year playa when you upgrade to titan turbo 2016. I'm just picky. I really have to move the camera 360 degrees very slowly to get a little hitch or stutter. Who plays like that anyway lol.
Thanks for the offer tho. I would like to know city speeding frames at 2160p and country speeding frames at 2160p vram usage and frames if you get a chance.
For the game running this well at launch, any complaining of do makes me feel like a Lil bitch so I'm gonna stop haha.Comment

I was driving around the entire city with Franklin. Vram usage jumped real high once I got around Mount Chiliad.
FPS hovered around 25~30fps until I got to Mount Chiliad where it dropped to 20's. I'm sure I can pick up more frames with more tweaking I can get better frames. In comparison 2560x1600 I'm pretty much locked at 60fps most of the time with 2x MSAA/TXAA enabled.
This is with 2x MSAA/TXAA, without its about 1200 less vram. The dips in the graphs are me hitting escape and going to the menu's.
I know this is a GTA5 thread, but all this vram really improved performance in Arma 3 and Day Z too.Last edited by roliath; 04-16-2015, 12:03 PM.
