If you stopped, deleted local content, THEN start the install again AFTER the game was technically available to play (6pmcst), then you should be good once it's done downloading.

Those are badass. What is the gameplay like? Do the people's movements look fluid?
Pretty much everything I expected. Its great. Uses about 5GB of vram after playing for an hr or so, maxed out @ 1600p.
game of the year.
Still need to do more testing, @ 5k (5120x3200) it uses 6GB of vram but crashes immediately if I try to take a screenshot with fraps or steam overlay. Haven't tested 4k performance yet, and I'm about to load it up on a 144hz monitor as I see it supports 60hz+ monitors.
Meh, I only run a 760 FTW 4GB, and it's enough for me.
I just need to run the benchmark test as I am unsure if I am getting 60fps, it sure looks butter smooth even with 4x msaa on. I turned stuff I probably won't notice down like water and soft shadows.
Bottom line, compared to GTA IV, R* finally did the PC version justice. I have forgiven them for IV and for the 3 delays to get us here, it was worth it.
And finally having a mouse to aim with makes all the difference in the world. I can finally head shot ppl that are chasing me (assuming they aren't in armored vehicles)
Do you guys use direct, raw or windows input for mouse? Windows seems best to me.
I'm running everything maxed without msaa and its about 3.7 GB vram at a constant 60fps@3840x2160.
Most msaa makes my games stutter including this one.
The shit thing is the only way to enable TXAA is to enable MSAA. I noticed if I get too many frames the map starts to act wonky.
This was at 1600p, settings below. IF I change anything it will be to lower Grass Quality it can get brutal in the country side with MSAA/TXAA enabled.
Obviously a Titan X isn't required for this game, but I wanted to move away from SLI for a bit and I wanted a 384bit bus with LOTS of VRAM. Plus MFAA/Gsync don't play well with SLI right now. This game is extremely well optimized.
Nice man. That X runs hot it looks like! I do get occasional micronstutters in sli but its so minute its hard to notice unless you really try to look for it. This will likely be my last sli setup as I have also seen the trend that single GPU is most times less of a headache with less launch hitches.
I'm hoping the 980 ti will perform about the same as the new titans with a little less vram. I might jump on one of those.
