yahoo mail sending spam in my name.

I dont know how or why, But yahoo is sending spam out in my name.

I went ahead and changed the acct password.

Any Idea's? I have not went anywhere that i have not been in the past or and new for that matter.

You got phished. The same thing happened to me. If you have any financial logins attached to that email account, change those passwords, as well.

changed my main passwords, but not all of them on some obscure accounts I have. Do I need to change every one?

Other than that, I dunno. It would suck to have to loose 10 years or more of emails.

Until you FOR SURE that you have cleared the virus/spyware off you computer, do not use it to give username/passwords. Us another computer that you know is clean to change all of your passwords.

It doesn't matter what they are. If they know your email, they can do a password reset to that email account and hack your financial accounts. What Tx Redneck said is correct.
