Samsung. Their customer service is top notch. I had a Tv go out about a month before the 2 year warranty expired. They sent out a tech to my house to fix it and slapped another two year warranty. It took one phone 5 minute phone call to make all that happen.

The fixed my DLP after it was several years out of warranty, at no charge.

Any idea how much longer I have to him-haw around about replacing the 50" Samsung plasma I have now(even though there's nothing wrong with it)with a 60-65" plasma before the plasma is a thing of the past?

I've had it since '07 and it's been an awesome tv. I'm going to be pissed if something happens and the plasma boat has sailed.

I bought a used Vizio 37" 1080p LCD off Craigslist for $75 bucks that works fine as a bedroom TV and also as a computer monitor. I'd really like to upgrade to a 42-47" but dont wanna go any larger until I have a larger room.

Not sure if this helps but I install commercial A/V and Sharp & Samsung are my top 2 brands bought by customers. 95% of my installs are those 2 brands.
