Some people travel to areas where cell data isn't available. No cell data, no cloud. It's convenient to have my work documents on my phone for reference until I can return to the modern world or bring the customer back online.

Work documents != 4GB movie's. Surly you can note the difference, and I dont know about anyone here but i'm in data range of something 99% of my day even when travelling.

Its whatever, I don't need to convince anyone.

I'm not in the DFW area and when I travel for work, it's all over West TX. For example tomorrow I will be about 30 miles south of Bakersfield on I10. Around there on I10, there is barely enough signal for voice... 30 miles south there is no signal just hills. The only cloud around there is in the air, not on your phone.

It's not the norm, but it does happen.

And last I checked, I think there was around 14GB of work data on my phone. Plus my music and apps, etc. No movies.

I don't need to convince anyone either. You ask who needed it and I explained. I really don't care what phone anyone has,
