My Nikon D3200 takes ridiculous 24.2 megapixel images and it doesn't need more than 4GB of storage.

My 4s is busted up on the back so I'll be looking into the 6 for an upgrade. I'm fairly certain the 6+ is too big for my tastes. That said, I'm still holding off for a while before looking at an upgrade. I'm going to examine the latest Android and Windows options as I do each year.

I don't want my nudes up in the clouds for everyone to hack. Start shooting in raw and you'll blow up that 4gb card pretty quick.

I do shoot in RAW. I take long exposure pictures, but on vacations I still don't fill up the card. I have a 32GB card, but rarely use over 3GB.

I think my last vacation I took around 260 images, I find it real cumbersome to carry around my big camera when my phone takes most pictures well enough. I'm just a hobbyist.

Some people travel to areas where cell data isn't available. No cell data, no cloud. It's convenient to have my work documents on my phone for reference until I can return to the modern world or bring the customer back online.
