Son's keyboard quit working...

It was working fine yesterday, but today he gets on and tries to type. Nothing is typing, but it makes a beep everytime he hits a key. We tried switching out keyboards and it did the same thing.

Any ideas or suggestions on what I can do?

hit the pause/break button, next to the scroll lock.

eh that's not the problem but with that said as long as the lights are on on the keyboard and going off when pushed... ie... numlock..caps lock.. then it's something else locking it up.

Are you connecting via PS2 or USB?
