Laptop Replacement Battery.

Has anyone ever purchased a replacement battery from Amazon / eBay / other websites? My current battery is a LI-ION 4400 mAh (gateway laptop)
And the battery life sucks balls. I found a 12 cell 11.1v 9600 mAh and was wondering if that's too big ? I'm lucky to get 40mins out of my current battery. This battery I found on Amazon is going for $36.98. Are there cheaper prices out there ? I'm willing to pay for a good battery, just don't want a cheap one and that shit catches on fire. Lol

I bought a 9cell to replace the stock 3 cell in my netbook. Got it off ebay a few years ago. Works like a champ.

I took a chance on a super cheap one from amazon for my old Dell. Less than $10! Been about 9 months and works like a champ. EPS Battery Store

Just make sure you do your research on the seller and the maker of the battery you buy. Most of those Chinese-made "knock-off" batteries are the exact same as OEM, just without the OEM brand on them.
