      Phew, that typo makes one heck of a difference. What are you usin for HDD('s) and have you verified that your ram is being used, not just cached for future use? If the ram is cached, this is good, if it's all used and causing lag, then more ram is in order. Also, since your CPU's FSB is 1066, I'd get that G.Skill for $79 and get to sets. I have one set coming for myself, I just need to do a reinstall to 64bit to be able to use it.

      If you're unfamiliar w/ Super Fetch(cached ram for frequently used programs) and how it works, read up.

        So you do recommend getting the ram? Are you saying to upgrade to the gskill or add it on?

          Upgrade it all. That will eliminate the chance of problems w/ the two types not playing well together.

              Hold off till you can get it back together and check a few things. That ram will be around a while.
