99% of cable internet providers have already moved to DOCSIS 3.0. If you have a DOCSIS 3.0 modem and are still on a DOCSIS 2.0 modem, you will be lucky if you get internet at all.

I have an internet connection currently. Lets see how long it lasts. I can't seem to get anything if I switch from hardwired to wifi though. (Hardwired with no router in place) This is the exact same equipment I was using for 2 weeks before the issue started.

I had an issue where it ended up being the line from the pole to the house had gone bad. I had two splices that had corroded. They replaced it from the pole all the way to the bedroom where it terminated and fixed the issue.

Well, not sure what happened/changed. I have had a steady internet signal all night. I re-set the router and everything has been fine. I won't get my hopes up just yet.

Whats a good apeed test site? I want to see how much of the 30 MBps I am actually getting

I just started having problems too. Well Ive been having problems with TWC for months, but there phone system is down, as well as there new online chat.

I believe level3 is doing maintenance in DFW as we speak. If I am right a lot of shit is going to be messed up.

Check the log in your modem. Do you have anything similar to this?

                  Code:

Well, we have had a steady signal for a coupke of days now.

Now we are having a problem with the beljin router dropping the internet connection from the modem. It typically happens at night (9-10PM)

                        Try recycling the power.

This picks the signal back up, but it seems to drop like clockwork at the same time

And it continues. Trying to stream some movies tonight, EVERYTHING is slow to load. Go to my desktop, plug directly in to the modem, run a speed test, less than 1 MBps. .12 MBps and slower

Recycling the power is what tech tell people to do, just to waste time. I didn't expect you to recycle power, as you didn't do anything thing else recommended in this thread.

You might try using the browser to log in to the Belkin router to check its log and status information. Belkin's default IP is 192.168.2.1, if you want to try.

I have done everything in the thread... I may not have posted the results or logs from the modem, but I went through all recommended steps. It is a bit difficult to post modem logs from my computer when I am pretty well restricted to service on my cell and posting from tapatalk.
