Use ModemRouter as router?

I get a weak wifi signal in my room. Can i use this old ATT modem router to amplify my Uverse signal in any way? B-ry?

You would need to configure it as an access point, if you already have another router in the network.

I found some info online regarding this 2wire modem router but I guess it was for a newer model. Idk bro.

If you can log into the device, set it's IP address out of the DHCP scope (make sure it doesn't have the same address as your primary router). Once you log back into the router, change the wireless name to match your current wireless and set the WEP/WPA key to match your existing wireless's key. Then disable DHCP on the router and run a network cable from one of the switch ports on your router to one of the switch ports on the 2-wire modem. This should allow you move any of your wireless devices in between the APs with no issues.

I am in the process of doing this even as we speak, by converting a linksys router for use as a wireless repeater for a u-verse modem.
