I played some of the beta. It seems ok, I may try the game once it is a few months old. I really liked Skyrim and I am still playing Fallout.

I was lucky enough to be in almost every Beta. It's come a long way but still needs polishing. I was a big DAoC, PvP fan and with ESO's 3 faction PvP also developed by the same designer....I'm in!

As for the "Skyrim" similarities; The character classes are truly diverse. 2-handed, bow using tank healer? Stealthy, dual wield assassin packing a restoration staff....why not!? 1st & 3rd person views. Combat feels very much the same in many ways. Very similar in style to TES's of the past.

Biggest thing to consider is that though it's based in TES, it's not TES in every way nor is it WoW (etc.) clone. If you go into the game expecting it to feel the same as most others it may seem confusing or you may be let down by your expectations. It's taking the mmorpg in it's own direction and I'm enjoying it so far.

Really cool so far. I've never been into mmos but this is fun. I haven't touched pop yet.

17 Imp Templar here with a couple of low level crafting mules.

What faction? I went Ebonheart simply because the resources were far more abundant with less bugged quests during Beta. Outside of that I considered Daggerfall since they seemed to fair worse in population.

Can't speak for others but I spent 6 years playing the last MMO Matt Firor was a part of. I'm hoping this will be the same as long as future added content goes over well. That being said; Shrouded Isles, to me, was one of the best expansions ever.

I'd watch some twitch channels to see if it interests you.

Matt Firor was a designer for Mythics Dark Age of Camelot which was credited for inventing RvR (realm vs realm) combat. His work for ESO's RvR (faction vs faction) is a direct influenced by his work on DAoC. I've never had so much PvP fun as I did with DAoC.

I liked DAOC, but I joined way late so I was always getting ganked. I didn't know anyone to help me out so I kind of just faded away.

What server are you playing elder scrolls on? I may have to get it.
