Fucking terrible.

MGS games are usually my favorites, but the whole r2 to fire is pissing me the fuck off (playstation users have been using r1 to fire forever, why fuck it up now?). And David Hayter, the voice of Snake since MGS1 has been replaced by fucking Kiefer Sutherland. Fucking travesty, and biggest fuckup since the character Raiden was introduced.

Do not waste your money.

i love mgs games but i decided to wait on this. would rather play on a ps4 vs a ps3 but no reason to buy a ps4 still.

The game out now is just a demo for the full game coming out later this year. The reason for using the R2 to shoot is because the PS4's R2 feels more like a trigger vs the convex shape of the PS3's R2 trigger. Of course, I am just assuming you got it on PS3...

If you want the worst example of this probably in recent video game history, go play medal of honor that came out a few years back. The multiplayer was done by dice (like battlefield) and the single player was done by ea. Well, the two development teams decided not to communicate at fucking all so the controller layout could not be made the same for both game modes. You had to learn one set for single player and learn another for online. I think I literally threw that game away.

100%. Totally different engine/mechanics in the two game modes. It was made to try and bridge the gap between bf and cod.

The game is fine as are the controls. More crybabies being crybabies on this site. Only disappointment is the main mission only takes a couple of hours to beat. Afterwards you're just given a bunch of side missions. Can't wait for The Phantom Pain to come out.

The main mission does not certainly take a couple hours.
You can speed run it in about 12 mins or less, or take your time and knock it out in about 40mins.

I liked it, I got my copy for free but I wouldn't pay for it.
