I've been due for an upgrade for at least 7 years, but I'm a tightwad.

What's the catch on this new mobile share and adding the new Next plan with AT&T? Supposedly, I can change over to that and get the option to upgrade again in 18 months for the same price as what I'm paying now for two lines. All I have to do is pay the sales tax on what the phone would cost at full retail.

I've never seen that actually pan out with the next bill. Have things finally gotten to the point of less screwing with the customer? Did I miss the change over and become a dinosaur?

I also noticed that Target had the S4's much cheaper when upgrading versus the AT&T store. Why is that?

HTC one is pimp, I was just using my buddies. I'd take the one over a 5s or Sony Z*

I had the HTC one before this note 3. Great phone but I really hated HTCs sense. Never could get used to it plus I missed the notes screen size.

You pay the sales tax and a monthly payment on the phone added to your bill. Once the phone is paid off in 12 or 18 months, you get another upgrade.

Lg G2, best battery life of any phone I've ever had. Plus the screen is huge and HD. The camera is pretty good and its processor is stupid fast. Its speced like the note but in a smaller package. Only downside is that the software isnt the prettiest especially compared to iOS or stock Android or even HTC sense, but you get used to it

I have a HTC First for my personal phone and a HTC OneX for my work phone. they're both better than most of the shit i have used in the past. I don't need latest and greatest, but prefer a phone with a good camera, easy UI, and a decent battery. no complaints on either of these for those categories.

HTC is announcing the new One (2014) next week. Rumor has that it may go on sell after the press release or mid April.

I went to the store, but only had a few minutes to play, and had to hold my 3 year old the whole time.

I seemed to like the MotoX, though they didnt have the phones out and marked worth a shit, and I didnt have the time to get "on the list" for a 'salesperson' to help me out. I think I played with the HTC One, I played with the flex, didnt find the G2.

On another note, how the fuck do yall tote around these tablet sized phones? Where do you put them?

As long as you don't wear skinny jeans or old school wranglers, everything from the Note 3 and down will fit comfortably in a pocket.

I have a rubber otterbox (best thing I ever did, my phone litterally got ran over by a truck) on my s2, and it is bulky in my pocket. Maybe it's more due to thickness and the rubber not sliding around, but I dont like putting it in my pocket, especially sitting down.

Yeah, if you use a Defender, it'll add too much bulk to be comfortable in a pocket. When I had the OG Note, I used the Commuter OtterBox. It protected well without adding too much bulk.

Atm, I'm using the Impactology case be tech21. It's light, slim and protects the phone to my satisfaction.

Yeah my note 3 with supcase fits in my pocket no problem. Only issue is when I added a flygrip, it's a bit bulky now but way too useful to take back off.

Sent from my Note 3, excuse the typos.......

Verizon in Waco just started that list thing, it's like walking into a Mac store. I really don't like it but I guess it's better than standing around waiting for someone. I mean it's exactly the same thing but they have a greeter now. I know their sales people are on commission but it's not really selling anything when they can't negotiate at all and they recite exactly the same things their website says.

Personally I'm considering a Lumia Icon. Verizon pretty much ignores anything that's over a year old regarding updates but with the Nokia stuff it's Microsoft sending them out. Not sure if it's better or not but my 8.1 tablet is pretty slick. Other than losing my dishanywhere app I don't really see a downside. The hardware is as good as anything else on the market. Not sure how I feel about not having an SD card but I'm pushing everything to a cloud server anyways now.
