So convince me on why a Nexus 5 is better than say a Galaxy S4. So far the two pros for the S4 are expandable memory and a replaceable battery. How's the battery life on the Nexus 5 been? I hate being tethered to a charger and like the fact I can swap batteries out in a pinch.

Knox is a Samdung security feature for the Corp environment but it has a caveat, if you mod, there's NO way to hide that you've done anything. Ie:Buh bye warranty.
Ma Goog=Google No waiting for updates to go through the OEM, then the carrier, they come straight from Google.
I promise you, the battery life is more than enough for most folks.

I'm sure that my battery life will be slightly better than yours but not as good as I'd like. I've got a USB battery pack that I bring with me when I go camping, something tells me that I'll be packing it with me more frequently now.
I just dropped $452 on a 32 GB Nexus 5 with next day shipping. So 1-2 days to leave from the warehouse and another day to me. Can't come soon enough. Should have done this sooner.

Just picked this up and there are some things I like and don't like about the phone and the Kit Kat OS. I'm not sure who's responsible for this but someone thought it would be a good idea to put text messaging and Google Chat together, in the same app.
Where's the DO NOT LIKE button? I've already vented to Bryan about this and I can't stand it.
This is more the Kit Kat OS but I don't like how it defaults to 2 home screens. Just give me my 5 home screens like I'm used to.Originally posted by JesterEvery time you see the fucking guy....show him your fucking dick.. So I'm a week and a half into having switched over to the Nexus 5 from my Skyrocket and so far I like it but I still have a small case of buyers remorse for not having gone with the Galaxy S4. I almost feel like I have the Android equivalent of an iPhone because of the non removable battery and lack of memory expansion.
Even with the non removable battery I've seen the battery life increase since purchasing the phone and fortunately the recharge time is fairly quick (still doesn't beat a user replaceable battery though). Some screen shots of the battery life. This is with everything turned on; WiFi, Bluetooth, and Location set to High Accuracy. I enabled Juice Defender this morning with the Balanced setting to see how that affects the battery life.
Battery life in chronological order. Very first day I spent a few hours at work watching a lot of video on it to check out video quality and reinstalling apps. The remaining days were normal usage for me; web browsing, email, texting, FaceBook, Feedly, etc. with one of the days of using My Tracks to do some GPS tracking while I was hiking with my nephew.

I'm getting great battery life out of mine. I can easily go 2 days on very light use before I need to charge it and I'm not even running JD.Originally posted by JesterEvery time you see the fucking guy....show him your fucking dick..
