Unless for some crazy reason, you're a die-hard Killzone fan, I've heard that there's no reason to own a PS4 yet. Just like the PS3 there are no games worth owning for it at release.

i'm about to retire the ps3 due to noise/heat/interface/controller for a $40 raspberry pi which actually does an even better job.

i looked up raspberry pi cause my ps3 is just starting to act up.. i'm sold and i'll be investing in one soon for sure

Yea i think i did it wrong this time. I bought the ps3 mgs4 bundle which is after their first price break and the dual shock 3 controller came out. Inloved it instantly.

I did play dc universe for a bit. It was free on the playstation store. It's meh, but at least i got to use the device.

XBONE won't have 3d playback at first either.

The PS4 looked like a useless black box to me. All I used my PS3 for was a blu-ray player. So I saw no need to get a PS4.

Both systems are missing things from the start, but it looks like the Xbox will have most of the important things working right from the beginning(after the Day 1 patch).

I am really hoping to take advantage of the Xbones "all in one" approach. I use the heck out of my kinect with voice and movement commands. I only touch the controller if I am playing a game. If this new Kinect 2 is as good as they say, and the universal remote function of the Xbone is as good as harmony, I'm going to be giddy as a school girl. Strictly using voice commands to control everything?! Hello Mcfly we are in the future!

welp, i'm done with it. i'm gonna sell my ps4 off. listed it on c-list for $500. will wait to buy once (if) features are returned and uncharted or MGS5 come out.

until then i may buy a fanatec wheel/pedal setup and upgrade my pc

I love my PS3. It was kind of like BF4 when it came out...not enough for me to justify spending the money and being a beta tester.

I got a ps4 and it works when it feels like ir but I have a replacement coming tomorrow from amazon. Starts up fine but if you turn it off then it won't turn back on and handshake with the tv. Have to unplug it and plug it back in then it works again .

Xbone should be here Friday. Hope I have bettet luck with it.

by chance, you dont have an onkyo receiver in that equation do you?

No it's a Denon avr-2112i. Ironically I had a onkyo receiver but sold it about a year ago due to handshaking issues with my ps3 and separate Sony bluray player.

I never buy launch console. Wait for at least the first hardware revision! No more bug that kills the console. Agree with everyone here, no reason to buy one now.

damn i'm in the minority here, my ps4 works great (knocks on wood).
resogun is so damn fun, I wish the launch titles were better.
not having the crew and watchdogs at launch really made me a sad panda.

i do have 1 positive. machine is quiet and runs cool so far and i do love the controller.
