Fry's Price Matching

Has anyone tried to get Fry's to pricematch Newegg recently? How'd that turn out?
I'm in the middle of a possible impulse buy, and Fry's matching will be the final factor

I'm not sure if new egg is like Amazon in the fact of companies selling through them.

But Fry's does match NewEgg as long as it is sold by them. Fry's also matches Amazon but not if it is a 3rd party selling it. (will usually say Shipped and sold by ******)

they price matched a 3TB hard drive from tigerdirect.com...No hassle, just had to wait in a long return line to speak to the Mgr
