If you have the originally generated PDF file, and it's not just a scanned image, you should be able to copy and paste the text.

      This

You can also copy and paste the data in and play around with the spacing in order to get it to line up in the PDF...I built one from scratch and just messed around with the layout a bit until I understood what every change in Excel did to the PDF file

There are several programs out there that can use OCR to export text from a PDF or picture, but I've only ever seen one program that will export from a PDF directly to an Excel spreadsheet, and it's two thousand dollars per license.

Even Microsoft OneNote has a built in OCR component now that will allow you to paste a picture into a notebook, then wait a few minutes, right-click the picture, and select copy text from photo.

Nuance PDF Converter, at least the version we use at works does OCR to Excel or Word directly... It works pretty well, but as mentioned it has to be an original PDF doc not a scanned image. I think the license is pretty affordable.

OneNote 2007, 2010, and 2013 are phenomenal tools. It comes with every version of Office 2010 or 2013. If you have 2007, it depends on which edition you have. It's crude, but the OCR feature works alright for small stuff, and if it's already included in your version of Office, you can't beat free.

Your location "joke" is really stupid. I mean, like "Hide your kids, hide your wife"..... "You really DUMB" kind of stupid.... Just saying.

And, like you, I contribute NOTHING to this thread.
