Unable to get the acronis to work.
Downloading the macrium and went to six flags again since we got rained out last night. Will try with macrium tonight.
Getting a message of not Being able to write to the failing HDD. Might not be able to get anything off.
We will see. At least I can see it in the my computer now.

I think I pmd my number to you, call me when you're at the pc and I'll walk you through it. You'll need to install it to a working pc to be able to burn the recovery disc. Once that's done, call me and we'll get this taken care of.

Will do. I am up and running with windows xp even got the interwebz working(so I can post screen shots, oh yeah). Getting that pop up box that sez it can't write to that drive. I tried to use the properties thing when you right click the drive to fix bad sectors but that wouldn't work on that drive but it worked inthe other two. I'll call when we get home if it isn't too late. Thanks very much.

Reallocated sectors are bad, means it tried to read a sector and it couldn't, so it moved that sector somewhere else ( drives have spares sectors ). These types of errors means you have a physical problem on the disk, those spin up counts look real bad too. Drive is definitely not usable, get whatever you can off of it and call it a day.

To quote Ice Cube: "That scratch make it real ugly, make you not even want to drive it."
