  • I broke it?

I apparently deleted or unistalled something I needed on my desktop to see websites in their designed layout. Now everything has Hot Pink words and the sites' link(etc.) are listed down the side of the page.
    How do I fix it?
This is one of only two sites that appears normal

I would like to agree to that, but it's not true. I need youtube and several others that are now all screwed up.
I don't know how to fix it and was hoping someone could just tell me.

I'm guessing a pop up window with a big red circled X is a bad thing

What os? Try Rebooting in safe mode with networking by restarting and begin hitting F8 repeatedly as soon as it shuts down and begins restarting. When you get a black screen with white text, use your kb to highlight Safe Mode with Networking, hit enter and try that link again.

never could get the thing to go into safe mode, and took two hours or better just to shut the computer down after several attempts to restart.
every attempt was met with a Low Disk space prompt on the C: Drive and requested that I delete unwanted or unused programs to free at least 200 MB of space
