Totally serious, their customer support was always good to me, I have no idea what would cause that.

Check the coax connections to ensure they're tight, all of them between that box and the splitter. If they are, try another splitter. If still bad, the coax is bad.

I might have to call them, of course when the cable guy hooked everything up I didn't have a TV in my room.

I just tried to tighten everything up and it's solid. I'll check the splitter next.

        Thanks guys

Try the TV in another room? Or swap the cable box with one that is working is what I would suggest.

I just bought the TV yesterday from BestBuy. After spending an hour on the phone with TWC they are sending a tech out. I switched cable boxes and still got the same thing.

I would try the tv at a known good outlet and box.

is ch10 not cbs? TWC doesn't have a contract with CBS right now.

Either way it turned out to be the signal was too weak.

The cable from the splitter or the splitter itself is bad. There's too much noise on the line and it has degraded the signal.

I didn't realize he was using a cable box. But yes, I would have swapped the boxes first since they are a little easier to move.

glad you got it figured out. I recall having this same problem a while back at it was the same thing, weak signal. Even after running a new coax from the pedestal (in my backyard) to the house...they ended up having to run some device that plugs in my garage and has a coax running into the attic. Supposedly it regenerates the signal cause if the kids unplug it by accident, my cable goes out.

Haha that's cool. Only thing easier is if you have a little 19" LCD like I have in my kitchen that's easy to move around.
