  • Good price on gaming pc or no?

I'm arguing with my friend about the price of it. He's telling me I should expect it to be way way way lower. This is also someone who tries to jew down something as much as possible, still uses a single core laptop because "it works", and only ever buys anything to upgrade or replace something if something has broken and no longer works.

    What does dfwmustangs think?

    Good price or no?

well its obvious he is loosing a good chunk of money selling it for that.

That's a fair price for a built pc, "gaming" or not.

Fairly certain that would blow my desktop PC out of the water. Add in my HDTV tuner/FM tuner card, my BluRay burner, PCI wifi card, and a bluetooth card and that would be a pretty damn nice desktop.

It's very close to mine and a decent price on it. I went with a single HD7850 instead of crossfire. That power supply will need to be swapped out ASAP though.

In comparison this is what I sold for $420:

                i7-930
                4GB 1333
                400 GB Sata (7200rpm)
                GTX 460
                600W Modular Power Supply
                22.6" LCD
                Saitek gaming keyboard

I ended up getting $460 for it.
Not too shabby I guess. I just didn't need a second third computer. Already have a better desktop, and a decent I7 and Nvidia GT 630m laptop.

Same boat here. I have one more to sell off that I haven't really used it. I remember back in my teenage years I had computers up to my eyeballs..it was like a nerd "status" or something.

Now I'm like, eff this, I want a tidy office.
