What's up with these. Are they worth the trouble?

SSD's run yo shit supa fast. I have yet to run into problems with my dual boot pc running XP... I have read it does have problems with SP3 in 64 bit

However... If you are not into editing or photoshop or an enthusiast or gamer, I would not recommend putting the money to boot and have shit load faster... Just do a RAID 0 for that instead.

don't fall into the limited write bs, first gen ssd's will still outlast your pc. this is no trouble with ssd's, I run them in everything I own and why are you still on xp?

        Hey jyro,
In short, all the hype is hype and the newer they get the better. Depending on your rig, chances are you'd probably be better off with a RAM upgrade and Windows 7 for the money. (generally speaking)

Just so you're aware, M$ will end all support for XP in about 3yrs.

Keep up to date on the end-of-support dates and plans for specific versions of Microsoft products.
