  • preventing doubleclick from making the back key not work

is there any way to do that?
Don't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Be honest, even if it hurts.

Guessing you are referring to doubleclick.net ads?

I've seen it on IE9 where as you press back it won't go back to the last page, it just cycles back through the things that load (like DC ads). In furiating, but i don't have a workaround beyond using a diff browser.

the back key won't function on site

the history file is filled with redirects to double click under xp.
not on all pages here, but on some I can't use the back key. No one else with this problem?

Never had that problem with Firefox

However, the first thing you should try is to simply add the offending link to your restricted sites in IE. The second method for stopping it cold would be to block it your host file.

Windows 7 with IE 10 too. I have this same issue, it's random. I figured out that if I refresh the page, I guess it clears the links and I can then click the back button.

                          Start by trying something simple.

                          1. Delete all browsing history, cookies, and cache in IE. Close browser

                          2. Open up a command prompt and type: ipconfig /flushdns

                          3. Reopen browser and see what happens.

                          4. Ignore steps 1-3 and use Firefox or Chrome with AdBlock Plus

I do a lot of postage through USPS, chrome won't work with it. What does ipconfig /flushdns
do, I did all that and I'll see if it helps. thanks for the help.
