galaxy note 1 w/ICS GPS issues?

turns out it was the HOME button instead of power. I don't have a physical home button at the bottom of the phone. The rest of the steps worked, and GPS now works outside, very well. Inside is still a no go but outside it works AWESOME which it didn't work at all before. So it's better which is GREAT! Thanks.

I may take a second look at the little antenna tabs and make sure they were good to go afterall. Seems like it's an antenna issue for sure.

Now to go figure out how to get rid of bloatware! LOL!

Notes come with a couple different key configs....found the Home instead of power sequence online. used the same technique and voila, all the steps you mentioned popped right up....

Now is the phone "rooted" or just modified to be rooted? Reason I ask is there are a lot of AT&T and other crap programs I would love to remove but don't want to get too crazy and screw something up.

You should be rooted now. Look in the app drawer for SuperSU. If you'd like to block ads now also, dl Titanium Backup and post back, I'll link my backup, rules and all, for AdAway.
