Standard OpenDNS 208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220 and thanks, I'd like to test for testing sake. Edit:I set the dns up @the router so everything would use OpenDNS.

Thanks to abecx, I'm 99.9% sure this problem lies w/Vz and their attempt to keep bandwidth from leaving their network and or protect their own content delivery by hampering competition. Here's the screen shots showing the stark contrast of being solely on Vz vs through abecx.net vpn.
