Changing default install drives

Ok, I have a 64 GB SSD as my boot drive and then a separate 1 TB drive for downloads and games and such. The problem is every time I install or download something it automatically tries to put it on the SSD. Most of the time I just manually change it but I have a few games that dont give me the option. So anyway is there a way to change which drive installs and downloads default to?

For compatability reasons, keep your progs on C: To move your dl/personal folders, etc...
