Anyone taken the A+ or Network+ recently

Fuck the A+. How many pins on a DDR3 stick of RAM? Who gives a fuck? If it fits, it (more than likely) works.

That shit isn't even on the test. The 801 and 802 tests (the newest version) are all simple networking, wireless, mobile device, and printer questions basically. There's a scenario on the first test where you have to name the different parts and sockets on a motherboard, but that shit is cake for ANYONE who has ever looked inside a computer.

I took the N+ course last year (got me off a week of work) and I have a big ol' packet of N+ in my desk.

I don't plan on taking it, we don't get cert pay here and I have no where to move up to until the Network admin retires around 2025.
