How exactly do they interface with a local printer? Is it like HP's drivers where you e-mail a doc to them and then they send it to the printer? Doesn't work for shit in my experience.

If on the same wlan, printer share works just as if you were connected to the printer. Cloud Print requires having the service enabled in Chrome and works fairly well for other printing scenarios. Afa the Hp e-Print, there's this. https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....android.print

So how does it interface with the printer though? Just a generic driver?

I can't remember for sure, but I think Printer Share does dl a driver, Cloud Print needs nothing extra and I haven't use the Hp e-Print app.

I've got Docs to go, which works fine for viewing, but not the manipulation of the data.

E-print might work for you then, you just attach a pdf, e-mail it to your easy to remember 27 character alphanumeric e-mail address and in 2-15 days it prints at 3am.

I think I'm going to get a Dell XPS 18.

I decided on an XPS18 but it's going to take a while to get my pennies pinched. So I'm going to see if aggie97's offer still stands.

Walmart.com has refurbed 32 GB Nexus 10s for $399 right now. I'm seriously considering picking one up but I'm trying to confirm the warranty first. Google was no help, and neither was Samsung chat. They told me to call back tomorrow. If they're full warranty, I think I'm going to pull the trigger.

Well, I bought the Nexus 10 refurb. I verified with Samsung they have the same 12 month warranty as a new one. I hope I like it!

So far, loving the Nexus 10. Prolly not the best use of $400, but for laying around and surfing it rocks. I think it's much better than an iPad.

I've had 2 android tablets and 1 ipad, I will never buy another android tablet. The operating system is just too messy, ipad is too fluid and smooth. iPad mini is the perfect tablet in my estimation.
