  • Fax server tech (Well, mostly questions)

So, I've been asked to setup a small business's "IT needs". One of their requirments is multiple fax machines. My thinking is use a fax server instead. So, does anyone have any experience in using fax servers? Pros/cons? Good/bad software?

External fax services. Can reuse their current number .

Faxes come in, get packeaged as email and can be sent to a shared email account, forwarded as attachments etc.

If they have a MFC copier/printer/scanner it can usually be configured for outbound faxing.

We use Xmedius. They're based out of Canada and every time you call, some dude answers and is speaking in French. I usually go, ummm...hello? And they switch to broken English. They do make a pretty damn good system though.
