Anyone bought the new one?

Bought it tonight. Saw they were having some server issues (it requires an always online connection to their servers), but they seem to be getting them resolved. My buddy said he was able to get on just fine.

Picked this up today. Servers seem to be fixed for the most part. I lost connection once while in game but they came back before I quit so I didn't lose anything. You can destroy your town but you have to unlock the disasters by achieving things in your city. For example you can't have an earthquake till after you start a mining operation and mine 100 tons of ore.

Fun so far played about 4 hours.

Yeah I want this game, but my Origin 25% off coupon doesn't fucking work on TheSims.

Its getting bashed pretty heavily due to the server instability they had, and they even pulled marketing for it or so I read. I've been watching someone stream this and it is more forgiving than say Sims 4. Some of ya'll should be getting a free game depending when you bought it.

I think I'll buy this if it ever drops in price, not sure I want to blow 80 bucks on the DigiDeluxe for this.

I have read a lot of game players saying maps were too small, no mass transit stuff (subways, monorails, etc), and a few other issues. I figure being the Sims line of games, they will just sell that stuff in a Bonus feature or add on game pack, for another 20$.

I would like to get the game, do not get me wrong, but I love my Simcity 4.
