A lag switch is a device you use that causes total lag to anyone playing in a match except you, or temporary lag to everyone in the game but you. It can cause you to run in place for 5 seconds giving the person using a lag switch enough time to shoot you in the head or knife you in the back. And it's easy to find when people are doing it to, at least on xbox. If you notice a lot of lag in the game and there hasn't been a server migration then pull up the leaderboard and look at everyone's connection. If all but one person has a shitty connection then more than likely they're using a lag switch.

As far as gametypes go, I do get tired of people who treat Domination, Demolition, CTF and all like a game of TDM. Shit gets old.

With that said, if we're playing Domination and the whole team is whipping ass and holding A and B pretty well, I'll rush C repeatedly. Partly to get kills and get some killstreak rewards, and partly to try to hold some of the enemy's attention on C, so they aren't pushing so hard on the other two points.

Ninja reduces all player noise by 75%. Its pro version completely silences the player and doubles the volume of enemy sounds. Teammates without Ninja will be heard normally by the player.
Unlike in past Call of Duty games, Ninja Pro is not limited to footsteps alone. Ninja Pro silences falling, mantling, weapon switches, equipment deployment, and more. It also more than doubles the sound of enemy footsteps, as well as amplifying enemy callouts, reloading, and equipment deployment. It is useful to know the language of your team to distinguish friend from foe.

The November 18th patch balances audio levels making player noises much easier to detect. This makes Ninja and Ninja Pro much more useful. However, even with Ninja Pro, enemies do not make nearly as much movement noise as they do in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The volume of footsteps varies widely depending on the ground surface; on some surfaces footsteps are nearly silent. Additionally, while sprinting on some surfaces footsteps seem to make noise only every third or fourth step, again minimizing the usefulness of this perk.

Ninja Pro seems to let you pick up on enemy footsteps from slightly further away but not necessarily louder. Having a line of sight definitely lets you hear the footsteps easier than if you are around a corner.

Even with Ninja Pro, players will hear themselves mantling. This may be a bug and it's unclear if enemies can also hear the noise.

The 1.04 patch further adjusts Ninja Pro: "Additional sound mix tuning for Ninja Pro users – increased ranges and volume of enemy footsteps, and removed player footstep sounds on concrete material types."

I haven't messed with Ninja Pro. I'm getting close to Prestiging again, and I think that might be the last one for me. Then I'm going to try to get a lot of different Pro perk.

Hardline Pro is nice to have, and easy to get, as is Ghost. The hardest part about Ghost Pro is getting the Sentry gun kill (I got lucky).

I also am starting to like Scavenger and Sleight Of Hand. Pretty useful, in the right game types and with the right setups.

Ninja isn't as usefull as it was in the last few COD games. I have turtle beach headphones and I still can't hear people even if they don't have ninja. Warlord Pro is my Pro perk of choice, 2 primary and 2 or 3 secondary grenades plus two attachments is the shit!

I've never understood the people who seriously complain about campers. If you were in a real gun fight, you would take cover and take your shots where you can get them. You wouldnt run around like an idiot right out in the open because you wouldn't get a respawn. lol.


That's why I like Search and Destroy. Much slower paced game, only one life per round and actually takes some strategy to win rather than just constant respawn with no strategy.
