  • Firefox will not boot

I have scanned for malware and viruses in safe mode. Nothing shows up. I also noticed my skype stopped working as well. Could this be a fire fox glitch or a malware problem.

Noticed that my windows defender is not working as well. Error code
0800106ba. Any input would be appreciated.

Yeah I reboot several times. I ended up just removing it and doing a reinstall. Still not sure what is going on with the windows defender though.

Microsoft Essentials. I have not changed anything since you help me out last time. Been doing great. Not sure what happened. I will check out the link.

Let me back up. I got a reply from some scammer from CL with a link attached. I did not open it, I just deleted it. Come to think of it, it happened the very next day.

MSE has defender built in so it doesn't need to run separately.

So more than likely it disabled one to keep from running both?

                  That's exactly what it is.
