upgrading an ol Dell D600?

I scored a free d600 and installed linux mint on it. Im wondering if I could swap the cpu for something better in it and what should I swap it with? I was looking online and I can get pentium m cpu for $3-4 and ram is cheap so I figure why not.
Can anyone tell me what cpu I could swap in it if any?
