    Tablet with USB & HDMI?

    I'm looking for a tablet with a built-in USB port and HDMI output, no adapters. The bigger the screen, the better. Does such a thing exist?

    I assume you mean regular size HDMI output, because all the tablets I know of use mini or micro HDMI ports, which with the right cable there is no adapter. The ASUS Transformer has all of what you want.

      As long as he buys the keyboard too, it houses the USB ports.

        That's a good point. I don't have the dock with the keyboard, I forgot about that. Monoprice.com is the source for a mini or micro HDMI cable, micro/mini on one side, and regular HDMI on the other. Plugs right into your receiver or TV. My mother in law uses one every day.

          I've got a micro-HDMI to HDMI cable I'll sell for a reasonable price.

            Thanks for the info, guys. I want a tablet where I can plug a USB right into it, without a dock or keyboard. Maybe they don't exist yet. I'm cool with a micro HD cable, that would be fine for me.

                What do you want the USB for?
                I have HDMI and USB adapters for my iPad as well as a SD card reader...

                    Just to plug in a thumb drive to watch movies or whatever. I really don't want to have to buy and mess around with adapters. I refuse to buy Apple so the iPad is out.

                            The Acer iconia windows 8 tablet has usb and hdmi on the tablet, but both require an adapter as they are both mini versions.

                              Toshiba Trive 10.1 has full size USB, HDMI an SD slots.
