Advice on Puter $650.00

My nephew is wanting to build a computer. I really do not keep up with what is good hardware wise anymore. I am going to be starting from the ground up. He is a gamer so I am looking for the best bang for the buck. Any advice on a build is greatly appreciated!!

For that budget I would do an FX processor AMD system with a 5 or 6 series nvidia card. spend the money on processor, ram, and video card, cheap case.

Looks pretty solid, shouldn't have any trouble running most modern games @ 1080p. Pretty crazy how cheap ram is these days!
