  • Android Users and iTunes

So having previously used an iPhone and I still have an iPod I have all my media loaded into iTunes and use that for storing all my music. Is there a way to get iTunes to sync or at least have drag and drop capabilities?

I recently went through this. You can go the google play route, or do what I did...drag and drop.

I heard double twist was shit.

Just plug your Android phone into the computer, and drag and drop from your iTunes folder in the Music folder in Windows to your phone, and voila.

That looks promising. I'll have to check it out.

I also read that about Double Twist as well on my searches. I wanted to able to listen to music offline (did I read somewhere that Google Play could cache some of the music on the device?) so I hadn't really considered Google Play although I do have some music uploaded to it. I know you can drag and drop from the Music Folder but I wanted to be able to do it from within iTunes.

Went with the recommendation of iSyncr from some friends and it's not bad. It offers both wireless and USB syncing and it allows me to bring in books, movies, music, and playlist onto my Android. It's not free but it's fairly cheap (think it was $2-3).
