Whoever did Confrontation was not the normal developer. I can't remember who the normal one is, or who did Confrontation, but they are supposedly going back to the original.


Confrontation was still better than MW2, Black Ops, BFBC2, etc.


And, speak for yourself. They say they are pressure sensitive. On my 4th PS3, and the only pressure they sense is "on" or "off".

Yeah, I know... I was a HUGE fan of Socom... you can ask Lo3oh, he had to literally come and pull me off of it some weekends.

Now, all Socoms on ps2 are Zipper - I,II,III, and Combined assualt. MOST Socom players will tell you the game went to shit after 3, but others will tell you it was after II. I personally liked CA myself... but many complained about the new Maps being WAY too big.

Then, on PS3, slant Six made it... I have played everyone, and was _KOZMO_ all through them, and ranked In the top 5000 (LEGIT) in everyone, EXCEPT CA, where I was a 2 star admiral until the rank ups spread like herpes. I did manage to teeter between a high-bird and a one star though

My clan STILL plays on PS3, but I just can't because that game is just plain trash. Frame rate latency, Ping issues, The NON Stop camping when its 1 v anything, not to mention the hit detection that was broke since 3... Just a terrible game. Zipper is making S4 and I hope it returns to what it used to be... but its supposed to support the Move, so we'll see how that goes.

Oh, also Zipper made MAG... another trash pile. I owned it for 2 weeks before I traded it in before it lost Game stop value! Since S2, I don't think Zipper has the best track record.

As for it being better than COD... maybe you just haven't tried regular or HC Search and destroy. Either that, or you just like camping around a corner! Oh, and all this... just my opinion btw!

Oh, and for the record, I own all current consoles, and I am not a fanboy. I simply have more friends that play xbox, thus is what I spend most time on.

Both systems are great... I kept the PS3 for the blu-ray since I really don't have time to play games too often.

BTW: Switch the control layout so L2 and R2 control brake and gas and it is super easy to modulate the throttle. GT5 is the only game I play on there anymore :cool:

forza is a pretty badass game. I got it when it first came out. I still put it in to play every now and then. I throw it in when I'm tired of black ops and i can get a few friends on it. I cant wait till forza 4. Hopefully they do alittle more with the drag racing this time. Also make some of the rwd cars hook at the drag.

I'm sure you will like the 360 once you get to playing it alot more. I have both PS3 and 360. But I use the 360 for gaming mainly since most of my friends play on it. But I will amet I havent really given my PS3 a chance for gaming. Right now I only use it for movies.

From a PS3 fan, to an xbox fan. A buddy's girlfriend won a 250gb with Kinect through a raffle at work. She wasn't too happy about it, but he sure was. lol


So we sat around and played Forza 3 while drinking the other night. I'm pretty sure I like Forza better than GT5. It seems more realistic, I like the ability to feather the gas/brake better than the all or nothing of the PS3, and the in car seems much more realistic with body roll, leaning, loss of traction, etc. It's damn near impossible to drive GT5 with the in car view. First, like 60% of the screen is taken up to dash, gauge cluster, a pillar, etc. Forza seemed to have more vision/screen display. And in GT5, when in the in car view, the physics just aren't right, car doesn't respond right, etc.


Don't get me wrong, I'm not selling the PS3 or anything, but I'll be picking up an xbox very soon. As far as I'm concerned, PS3 still has the best FPS game on the market, and it's exclusive to PS (Socom).

Nigger. you can feather the throttle...The right joystick is gas and brake...left is steering...Try it like that on GT5..

Was weird at first but you can definitely part throttle it throw the corners and pick up time.

I'll have to disagree with that. There were some test i could never have gotten gold on with out feathering the throttle. You may need a new controller. I had one that was so worn out from MW2 that i bought a new one and it made a huge difference on GT5. I've never played Forza but on GT5 you def have to be able to feather the throttle o be able to get some good times.
