  • So I broke my iP4 screen...

And don't really want to deal with fixing it. So that said I'll just wait it out for a new upgrade. I've been eye sexing the SGS3, and possibly the iP5 with the rumored 9-21-12 release date. I've used the iPhone since the first 3g iPhone, and have never owned an android. I've always jailbroken my phones to mess with themes and whatnot.

SO, what do you guys think? The Samsung, iPhone? Or something else?

Thanks. I just dislike the idea of starting over with my apps.

I understand about the sd card, but the iPhone has a non removable battery and it works fine. I've had my phone since before they came out and I have never needed to pop out the battery for reset or anything like that. The phone is very well built and I've had a good track record with htc. Myself and everyone I've talked to has had numerous problems with Samsung galaxy phones. Personal experience only, of course.

What kind of problems did you come across with the Sammy?

I have no experience with the S 3 ,but Ashley has the S 2 skyrocket and recently Samsung released the official I c s update and it bricked many of the phones. We had to send the phone in through the repair department and they have an all or nothing repair policy, the phone had a very small chip in the right corner of the screen, barely noticeable but samsung would not fix the bricked phone without repairing the screen at the same time. They made me pay 100 dollars to fix the screen. It seems to me their phones are very buggy. I can tap on the message icon and the phone menu pops up, trouble receiving MMS messages, it will randomly drop wifi and after a restart it works fine. Not to mention the Samsung kies sync program for pc sucks. I would list the problems I had with the original Galaxy S but it's so old I find it irrelevant.

Ah, I'm going away from AT&T, and going to Verizon or Sprint. What is the general word on the 4G LTE?

The only issue I've had with my phone is that it gets damn hot when gaming. Also, 1 morning I took it off the charger and by the time I got to work my phone was completely dead. There must have been an app running that killed the battery. I haven't had the problem since.
