i have a 9000 that the external speaker quit on and the roller ball started sticking. i called AT&T and they are sending me a 9700. is there anyway to back up my games to put on the new phone? i have the BB desktop software but not sure if i can do that there.

The roller ball was the ultimate deal killer for my BB. I had a curve and I swear I'll never get another phone with a janky track ball. I hated that goddamn thing so much. I regularly had to take it apart to clean the ball and rollers.

wow. i haven't had a problem till lately. either way, im getting a new one and it looks like the new one won't have a ball.

The BB desktop software should let you back up everything on the phone and transfer it to another phone.

when i back it up, it says it's for the 9000. didn't know if it would let me transfer that back up to the new phone.

Not sure. I know I transferred all my contacts and texts from an older Blackberry to my Curve when I got my Curve.
