Kids got an XBox 360 for Xmas and played it most of yesterday. Now, when we wake up this morning the flip'n thing doesn't turn on. The green power light comes on and the console "chimes" but that's it! When I hit the "eject" button it chimes and green light but doesn't open the door. (Halo REACH is still in there!! Best Buy purchase, I REALLY don't want to go there today! Any help is GREATLY appreciated. (When I figure this out who's up for some online gaming?!?!)

it'd be a real pain in the ass to get up there and find that you're missing something that came with it and have to go back home.HD Parts

Yeah, I've done all the "normal" PC style stuff. (I support PC's and OS's for a living, thus my frustration.)
More info... the power supply glows amber until I try to power on or eject, and then it simply flashes green for a second.
This sucks..... Halo was great fun!!!Last edited by Darren M; 12-26-2010, 12:58 PM.Originally posted by Taya Kyle, American GunThere comes a time when honest debate, serious diplomatic efforts, and logical arguments have been exhausted and only men and women willing to take up arms against evil will suffice to save the freedom of a nation or continent.

Took it back and with no questions got a new one. I mean NO questions. That says something to me about the number and likelihood of a product being returned. However, this did give me the opportunity to educate myself on the possible importance of keeping these things cool. I'm going to start a new thread on just that subject. I doubt it will go very far but at least I'll get an idea of the DFWM.net community's consensus. Thanks for the input!Originally posted by Taya Kyle, American GunThere comes a time when honest debate, serious diplomatic efforts, and logical arguments have been exhausted and only men and women willing to take up arms against evil will suffice to save the freedom of a nation or continent.
