    I've never lost a domain. There is no 10 year limit. If you don't renew a locked domain, it becomes available. Simple as that. And GoDaddy has the option to autorenew, even when parked. Domain ownership protection is your friend. There is even a redemption period, so this makes no sense to me.

        They said it expired in June, but I never had any problem opening it till just the other day.
