you mean like the ICS update they just rolled out?

battery life on the S3 sucks compared to the Razr

For real. I haven't seen anything lacking in the updates department. I love my RAZR MAXX. I use it heavily all day and it still has 30%+ juice left by the time I go to bed. I don't need the best screen or the fastest processor, and $300 WITH a contract just doesn't seem like that great a deal for a phone. I'm sure the Galaxy SIII is a great phone, but I can't justify it based on cost and battery life compared to the deal I got on the RAZR MAXX.

Considering ICS has been out since December 2011, i'd say that's pretty slow.
Battery life is the only area the Razr is better. Only.

only on the gs2 and skyrocket. The rest were flashed.
Leaving a factory rom on is a good way to make any android phone start to suck.

i've been abusing android phones since the g1 game out, and no phone is good on a factory rom as it can be when flashed.

Can't say how pleased how I am with my gs3 over my skyrocket. Best phone I've ever had since 1994.

I had no problem with the old OS. I prefer it in singer ways.

Oh well, i use my phone as a communication tool, not as a movie screen.

Battery life its VERY important to me.

Look at the HTC Arrive Dave, usual touchscreen functionality, and the screen slides forward and angles up, to reveal the full qwerty keyboard. I hate trying to type on the tiny touchscreen (iPad is bad enough) so this is the best of both worlds. It'a little thicker than non-keyboard phones, but only slightly moreso than your BB to account for the touchscreen.

I am currently running Win mobile though, I don't know if it's available for Android, if you are set on that. Win mobile is seamless with Outlook, and my other accounts as well. You can screw around with mine week after next, if you haven't gotten something by then.

I can't get use to it, I don't feel comfortable using it I guess. SwiftkeyX is the KB I use.

Is that some voice-to-text app? My Microsoft reps have that through Lync, where it will e-mail their voicemails to them. I had one forward me a VM that I left, and it was like auto-correct was drunk.

swype is the greatest invention evar

I always had physical keypads. I started using Swype on my mytouch slide, killed that phone quickly and got a G2. I used the qwerty for a couple days tops and then it never got slid out again
