  • Dell Dimension 2400 blue screening??

Have an issue, My dads computer is blue screening and shutting off. It has windows 7 installed, 2G of ram, and a video card of some sort to run the windows 7. Why does it blue screen? Cant read the screen quick enough before it shuts off.

I can even run a full scan with MSE to see if anything is wrong. It shuts off before it completes.

If this(Caused By Driver : ntoskrnl.exe) is listed in many/most of the other listings for the BSOD, the ram is failing.

Well it has 2G of RAM in it. Cause thats all it can take. Would it be both sticks or just one? Or just better to replace both?

I'd replace both and see if it corrects the issue. if so, you're not out much money.

If you're at the PC now, go to crucial.com and run the memory scan tool and post back, or do it when you can. I/we can't recommend anything w/out knowing what it can use.
